I am using Parallels 5 & I managed to install Windows 7 & most of the Windows Apps successfully. But I realized a few interesting or rather annoying issues: 1. Inside the Applications Folder in the Dock, it has 1 'Windows Applications' folder and 19 'Windows Applications for Windows 7' folders. Are these folders important and necessary? Can I delete all? I looked into each folder & realized that the files are all the same in every folder...And I also noticed that each time I install new Windows Apps, the 'Windows Applications for 7' folders will increase.... 2. Since I'm using Parallels 5, when I launch Windows 7 VM, I realized that I don't need to setup the network at all. Is it that Windows 7 VM is tapping on the connected network from the Mac OS? 3. If Point 2 is true, is there anyway I can setup the same network from within Windows 7 VM? I am using a multi-function network printer with built-in scanner, and I have an old Windows PC running fine with it. I realized that when I was installing the printer software in the Windows 7 VM, it cannot detect my network printer at all. FYI, the network printer software doesn't support Mac OS, therefore I need to have the same network setup in Windows 7 VM in order to setup my network printer. Please advise.
