    Internet Trouble in Windows 7

I've been trying out the trial of Parallels Desktop for a few days now with Windows 7. It's been working pretty well. However, suddenly I'm unable to do anything online within Windows. My network settings in Windows show that I have an active connection, but Internet Explorer won't display any webpages. I also can't seem to access my shared folders. I'm still able to browse the web from my Mac.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated since I'm not sure I can file a support ticket for a trial version.

If it helps, this is what I'm seeing: "Your computer appears to be correctly configured, but the device or resource is not responding."

My network setting is on "Shared."

    Help!

Can someone please help me with this problem? I want to buy the full version of Parallels but I won't if I'm not certain my Internet connection will work.

Here's what I'm running: MacBook Pro 2.66. Mac OS 10.6.8. Parallels Desktop 6 for Mac with Windows 7 running off a BootCamp partition.

Last night I booted in BootCamp and installed the BootCamp utilities on Windows. That briefly solved my connection issues, but only in Parallels. I wasn't able to browse in BootCamp. Today I can't browse the web on either Parallels or BootCamp, while everything works fine in Mac OS X. My Parallels network is set to Shared and I have installed Parallels Tools.

As far as I know, I cannot submit a support ticket while running a trial version of Parallels. I'm pretty much on my own unless someone helps in this or another forum.

I turned on internet sharing in my Mac system preferences. It seems to be working for the moment. Does anyone know if I have to be worried about the warning that my ISP might get upset for turning on Internet Sharing?
