invalid serial after downgrading

Hi there,

I just installed the new leopard, and I saw that parallels desktop 5584 was out so I decided to install it. Too bad I didnt know I had to purchase a new key even if I had the old version 2.5 installed: I didn't realise it was 3.0. So once I found it out, I wanted to put back the old parallels.
Since I was afraid of losing my disk images, I decided to uninstall parallels like any other application e.g. by dragging it from applications to the trash, keeping the images which are in another place. Then I installed parallels 2.5 (build 3324), typed my serial number, but then it refused it saying "the activation key cannot be used with the current version of parallels desktop".
What can I do?
