I have been using the app and have a few comments. Hopefully it is a configuration issue. 1) There is a hidden border around the app when the mouse scrolls out side the apps region. (see screen shot) (i did try different screen settings on the ipad client) this causes the mouse to "scroll the screen" and move the app itself around. 2) The app when launched does not seem to take the whole screen in general. (maybe due to point 1) 3) Screen snap does not work correctly for zoom in and out. when you zoom in, then out the app should return to full screen. With the boarders, it takes the boards as the full screen and not just the app. 4) The mouse circle could be a bit larger or the icons spread out a little more. For some reason, i use the mouse and then all of a sudden it is on right click when i did not choose this function. 5) It would be nice for the user to be able to add their own windows shortcuts to the main keyboard screen (like being able to add Alt-Tab or anything else that is use frequently by the user) Thanks in advance! Vito
no problem, but are these bugs or setting issues that i am missing? If bugs, will they be addressed in the next release? thx
No not bugs per-se. Some are due to optimisations, some are by design, and other things are dependent on customer taste. For now we took note of your feedback and when the next software is reviewed, and updated ofcourse feedback from all our sources are evaluated and some are of interest others no. The forum is great for exchange of ideas, and hence your input is appreciated, but the designers and developer have many constraints that are not discussed in this setting. I assure you that your feedback does not fall on deaf ears but a change takes time to adopt sometimes due to many factors. Thanks for understanding
I have tried the newer versions of the ipad app and this is still a problem for usability. The extra screen scrolls make it extra hard to navigate and use. A few clients i showed said the same thing to me about this. not to mention another vendor here, but LogMeIn ipad interface is something to possibly look at for usability. IMHO (but not perfect) I would like to know if people are using the ipad app for clients and if they feel the same way. Another problem is when the keyboard is launched, it should push the screen up so you can see the field you are typing in. Now, the keyboard sits on top making it very hard to use. Again, if these are setting i am missing please let me know.
Hello, 1. When user makes mouse visible, we have to add extra space to let user use mouse pointer at extrim points of the desktop screen. So extra space and scrolling will be always present when mouse is visible unless you specify screen size very small (less then 1024x768) that will completely fit on screen with required for mouse extra space 2. Currently released version has extra scrolling on iPad when 1024x768 resolution is specified and mouse hidden. This has been fixed by introducing "optimized screen size" option. Enabling this option users won't have extra scrolling on iPad when mouse is hidden. There is no date when new version will be available yet. It is performed for 2x connections when you select text field unless you switched off settings to automatically show keyboard. For other cases coordinates of text fields you are going to make input are unknown, so scrolling cannot be performed. However even in this case it seems should not be a problem to make text field visible by scrolling desktop view above keyboard, especially on iPads in both orientations: landscape and portrait. Could you please explain what exactly hard to use after keyboard appears? Please note that we have separate forum for iOS 2X client Regards,
