hi i am using parallels so that i can continue to use j river media center, a far better media player than itunes. basically i am wondering about methods of removing my IPOD device after a sync. i have parallels set to connect automatically to USB devices, and so the IPOD is recognised first by parallels and is then detected by media center, though it does take a while (any ideas why it would take a couple of minutes?). when i want to eject the ipod after a sync i just select 'eject', which does the same thing as 'safely remove hardware'. however the ipod does not disconnect. there is still a tick next to it in the USB device menu in parallels and so i need to remove this, and then the IPOD is recognised by mac OSX and then i need to eject it here as well. is there a quicker way to do this, so that the IPOD will eject properly from within parallels/windows? thanks nick.
