Is a Bootcamp partition necessary

    I'm a new Mac user and planning to install Parallels. Do I have to have a Bootcamp partition in order to installation and run Parallels and then XP Pro?

    No, a boot camp partition is not necessary. Parallels will create a file to mimic a hard drive partition for you.
