When I installed Guest Windows xp on my Mac, I signed up for AVG Free.

I have 18 months to run on my licence for ESET antivirus on my old dead Windows laptop, which I have now transferred to my Mac. Does the ESET antivirus for Mac also scan the virtual Windows via Parallels? If so, might it conflict with AVG Free, so should I remove it? Or would it be better to disable the Mac ESET interfering with the virtual Windows and slowing it down? How would I do this?
