Is Parallels 'touching' my Dropbox files?

My setup: Bootcamp Partition and Parallels. To get the least troublesome file sharing (files are accessible with r/w access on same path regardless of booting through Paralllels or Bootcamp), I use Dropbox to sync files between the systems. this morning after booting Parallels I had a nasty surprise.

In OSX, suddenly some of my files did not contain edits, that I was sure I had made. So I went to Dropbox (web) and browsed for earlier versions. the different versions are there marked by author. It turned out, the file was overwritten by the PC-side dropbox file of yesterday. Why would Dropbox do that? Well DB compares last edited timestamp on the files to decide which is more recent - so the PC-file should have been detected as the older. But when I then went to look in the PC-side Dropbox folder, I saw that the timestamp of the file was in fact changed to right about the time of booting Windows with Parallels.

Is this a known bug? Is there a fix?
