I've looked everywhere I can think of for the online PDF documentation files for Parallels Desktop 7, but all I can find are the files for version 8. Are Parallels.com policies really so petty as to make the documentation unavailable for the older versions? They have ten separate files available for version 8 (not counting the alternate forms), but none any more for version 7. Regards, Geoffrey Odhner
Hi Goffrey Have you tried under the help menu >Parallels Desktop Help (I believe this should bring up a User's Guide for your version of Parallels) Also some of the knowledge base articles will work for more than one version of parallels. kat
They have a link to the Troubleshooting Guide in the help menu, but no, not the PDF User's Guide. They have help file itself of course, but that's not what I'm talking about. Nearly all of the useful things that can be found at http://www.parallels.com/support/desktop-virtualization/desktop/#c12970 are only available for Parallels Desktop 8 now. That seems like an awfully stingy policy considering all the money I've already spent over the years on Parallels. Even if one has been a very good customer over the years, if one hasn't bought the very latest product, then the documentation is incomplete? It makes me less inclined to continue with Parallels, rather than more.
