Isolating Boot Camp partition from Parallels 5

I do not want Parallels 5 touching my Boot Camp partition.

I have installed Parallels 5, and it automatically created a Boot Camp icon. I have deleted it, and I have deleted the original Parallels folder in Documents.

I have since pointed Parallels to my virtual machine, which is not related to my Boot Camp partition.

How do I make sure Boot Camp partition is not harmed by Parallels?
