I upgraded the other day to Paralles 7 on my Mac Pro, Im runing windows 7 and XP.. When I launch XP when the Windows 7 Parellel is open i get this error

A file or device required for the operation of CD/DVD 1 does not exist or is used by another process, or you have no permission to access it. The virtual machine will continue running, but the device will be disconnected.

Now if I disconect the Matshita DVD drive on the windows 7 Parellel I can conected on the XP side but then get the error above on the windows 7 side.

I dont need to have both VM connect at the same time to the Matshita DVD drive as I have yet to use it but want the error to stop pooping up I have tried setting the defalt/ DVD setting on the configuration on the XP side but when I reboot I get the error again I also tried to just conecti it to the XP CD_XP and so on ISO which it seems the other PCs we have in the office are set but then I get this error

The imaje file "Volumes/USB Disk/SW_CD_widows_XP_Porfessional_32BIT_English_ISO_MLF_X15-05160.ISO' used by CD/DVD drive 1 does not exist. Do you want to save the virtual machine configuration anyway?

Not sure what to do past this point we Upgraded another MAC whit the almost the same set up and had no issues any help would be appreshated

    Thanks

Why don't you just delete the CD/DVD from one or the other VM's hardware configuration? Select it and click the minus (-) button.
