Hello, Since V.5 and still with V.6 - I've just bought hoping it would be better, I've got many pb with CATIA. Now that I'm in V6 I won't argue with the exact same pb I had in Parallels V5, but I just want to point out some REALLY annoying facts : 1) I'm working with an XP SP2 Professionnal, and it has been stable for Years of using parallels. 2) CATIA V5R12 has been ultra stable (even more that in boot camp) since Parallels V3 & V4. 3) Since Parallels V5 "the tree in Catia is completely crappy and it is just impossible to read something. letters are missing, etc… ONLY way is to : quit CATIA relaunch it and reload a first document, the tree shows the text correctly. as soon as I load a second file the tree is crappy again. same for 3rd and so on. I've never been able to fix this. 4) SO I bought upgrade to V6 of parallels hoping for a fix. Result is : CATIA V5R12 just don't launch anymore !!! it's a no go. I've trashed all temp files in directories, all Preferences files of catia in applications data and so on. I've tried with 3D acceleration, wihout it, Open GL, etc… . with better performance for the VM rather than for MacOsX, increased Memory of the VM from 1Gb to 2Gb, quite all possible options with the same results again. No Go. I've try with a backup of the VM : same exact result. CATIA just CAN'T launch. I see it in Process explorer, then it crashes. 5) I've then decide to test with the V5R18 release. Now Catia just launch ok, but I've got the same crappy tree texts. I've always made my choice with Parallels vs VMware, but I'm really going to switch IF I don't get a solution. I just can't work like that as I use the VM ONLY for CATIA. If anyone as an idea or a fix, I'd be glad to know it. Thanks…
