I cannot find a link to a Parallels 1-time purchase anywhere. Nothing is clearly marked, and what appears to be - suggests, kind of - that it is a one time purchase, links to a version of Parallels that isn't, but a subscription. On the parallels.com store, Parallels Desktop Standard Edition is listed for "$99", while the other products are listed with price, followed by /yr. This would suggest that the $99 version is a non-subscription, 1-time purchase... ...However, adding that item to the cart converts my supposed '1-time purchase' to a prepaid one year subscription. This feels misleading. Dishonest. Bate & switch-y. On the forums, Parallels team members have repeatedly posted links to the _difference_ between 1-time purchase and subscription model - so the 1-time purchase exists, but where do I buy it?
Edit: Found the answer by loading parallels.com in a different browser. Previously, at checkout, the option box to switch to one time purchase was missing. In the new browser, it is there (Orion, then Safari, if anyone's interested.)
