I require the Java Runtime Environment for some web based financial applications which also require IE so this is my entire purpose for using Parallels. When I attempt to install the latest JRE jre-6u20-windows-i586-s on my guest Windows XP OS the install gets close to finished then fails with Error 25099, Unzipping core files failed. I have googled around but nothing seems to be helping, there are no other copies of JRE installed on the Windows XP guest OS. Without this installed parallels is useless to me. I am running a slightly older version of Parallels build 4.0.3540 but I haven't read anything about this build having problems with Java. Any suggestions?
