I really like Parallels and I am using it for some development work. I used the Shared Folders feature to share my code from the Mac side to the windows side so that I can run a database upgrade process in the VM. Unfortunately, when I run the process (which is a Java application) I frequently will get java.io.FileNotFoundExceptions from the process. For those that don't know, this is Java's way of telling you that it can't find a file. I can look and see that the file exists and I can view it. Sometimes it will work and then if I do it a second time, it will fail from that point on. Does anyone from the Parallels team have any ideas on this? My work around has been to use Windows File Sharing on the Mac and map that drive into my VM. It works but its VERY slow. I really want to use Parallels but this is pretty much a blocker for me. Any ideas? --> towns
