So far Parallels is being everything I had hoped it would be so this is an "Atta boy!" for Parallels. When I switched from PC back to Mac (because of OS X) I knew I would face the battle of running XP/Win programs and fighting against the masses in the sense that the PC is really in use just about everywhere. Add to that the fact that I'm a programmer in the windows world (bio-medical device/instrumentation) and it was really a silly move. I mean how could I work in OS X? But along came the intel Mac's and Parallels and now I have the best setup I could imagine: MBP - Speedy, fast, unix based - Cool Mac apps In a Window I have XP: Borland Delphi, Solidworks, Starteam. It is perfect for my needs. Now if we can just get all the USB stuff working (I know it is a real pain). But as far as stability goes I think it is great. So keep up the great work guys! Mark
just putting my tuppence worth in - Parallels just seems to be getting better and better. RC1 is the most stable so far. still a few irritating USB issues BUT compared to Bootcamp, the sheer advantage of running under OSX and being able to switch back and forth easily makes Parallels the way to go by miles.
