Kaspersky install fails on clean Vista business

I've just setup a clean vista VM and no matter what I do Kaspersky will not install. I tride moving the files to the desktop/doc folder on the VM and still no luck, each and everytime it shows the 'installing kaspersky... restart when finished'. It restarts and nothing has been installed.

Any ideas... I'm stuck with an useless VM till i get a decent anti-virus installed.

Vista business - all avaliable updates installed.
    Parallels v3 build 4560

Disable UAC to install Kaspersky on Vista

I'm saw the same behavior with build 5160 when trying to install on Vista Ultimate.

You must first disable UAC, then perform the KIS install, like so:

    1) Disable UAC and reboot.

    2) Start the KIS installer

    3) After KIS installer reboots, wait for the KIS popup asking if you want to perform an initial scan (took about 10 minutes on my Macbook), tell is to scan your system.

    4) After the scan completes, re-enable UAC and reboot.

    5) Log in, right-click the Kaspersky toolbar icon and select update; verify that the updates applied (i.e. that UAC didn't get in the way).
