I saw a similar thread on the (closed) beta forum. I'm running Parallels 5582, Windows XP as guest OS, on OSX 10.4.11 with shared networking. This problem suddenly started happening last week when I was on a previous build, and after I upgraded OSX. I was able to fix it by upgrading Parallels to 5582 and installing the tools again, and thought I had it fixed. Well it just happened again.

I took a screenshot with Grab and tried to paste it into an email in Windows/Outlook. Well that failed complete, and then kernel_task and pvsnatd both went through the roof. The only solution was to shut down and reboot.

I saw this happen on other versions of Parallels and it always seemed to involve the network, even when I was running bridged. First symptom was that Windows would lose its network connection, and then kernel_task maxed the CPU. Now with shared networking, pvsnatd has joined the party. Anyone else having this problem?
