Hi. I'm running Parallels 10 on my Macbook Pro with Windows 8.1. Everything used to be great, but I had to re-install Windows and then everything got screwed up. I bought my version of Windows in Japan, but am using it in English. My problem is, for some reason Windows thinks it's a Japanese hardware keyboard. That means when I press Shift 2, instead of getting the "@" symbol like I'm supposed to, I get ". Instead of an apostraphe, I get a *. Etc. etc. It worked fine before I had to reinstall windows, but now I can't figure out how to get things back. I re-installed Parallels Tools, and the Windows keyboard Control Panel says I have a standard PS/2 keyboard. Thanks for any help.
Hello ZakT1, please click Options and Remove the layout that contains (Apple)-Parallels ending as suggested in this article and let us know how it works.
