Short reply and pushing this old thread (forum tells me I should use english only, tried twice to tell the full story).
Buy an XBox 360 controller for windows. Bind this via the USB options to the virtual machine. Have fun - the game was designed perfectly for this controller!
Edit: The short story has been accepted, now for some details.
I'm using Parallels 12, Windows 10 on a MacBook mid 15 with retina display.
In 3d view the image was spinning until the mouse was moved. Getting the camera to a halt was difficult, though. A slight movement remained. View control worked only from bottom left to to right, any other mouse movement was translated to this diagonal. Using cursor keys worked fine.
Support took over my Mac for several hours to fix this. Kudos for their valiant but fruitless efforts!
I promised them to tell my proceedings in the forum.
On the Windows side there are reports of similar problems. The game designing studio went bankrupt just before the release of an update and the game modders haven't produced a patch for this. Tweaking with drivers on Mac and Windows side had no positive effect.
Eventually I gave up and bought the aforementioned controller (tip from a Windows gaming forum). No drivers on the Mac side (though some exist), Win10 has built-in support. Bind the USB device to the VM via the "USB/Bluetooth" control panel in Parallels. The UI of Amalur is changing, well adapting the game for use with it. Everything works.
