We use multiple languages in our household. I would like to have a setup where I can use English while the rest of family can use Dutch. I own Parallels 3 (UK) and Windows XP (UK). Is there a way I can do this without having to buy multiple licenses for Parallels & Windows (which is rather too expensive)?

    Thanks,

    G

PS. I am glad Mac OS X is just simply multi-language. Why others make such a mess of this for people who use multiple languages escapes me.

    Hello,

No, unfortunately that is not possible with Parallels Desktop. Actually as far as I know Dutch version does not even exist, but in any case you would need additional license for any other localized version.

As for Windows, it is possible only if you have MUI installed:

    http://www.microsoft.com/globaldev/reference/win2k/setup/changeUI.mspx

You can contact Microsoft support in order to clarify if that is possible in your exact case.

    Regards,
    Maria.
