I apologize for not doing more searching - i have today to get this up and running, i'm fighting getting sick and I homeschool and need to be out there with the kids.

OK, so, I DL'd and installed the trial of Parallels the other day - the newest version, 3186 (?) from Feb 27 and every-time i launch it my wireless connection freaks. As in - goes away on the Mac side. In conjunction, we were having router issues and now have a new one, so i thought that was the problem. But after this morning, nope...

I'm finally back online - after uninstalling parallels. Good thing i hadn't emptied the trash and had the dmg in there to do it. I had quit parallels, i had reboot and shut down the computer about 5 times. Never could connect to the Wireless net.

When I launch Parallels, the OSX side losses connection - when I go to the Network Preferences, it flashes that "airport is on but not connected to the internet" and sometimes "Airport does not have an IP address and cannot connect to the internet".

The 2 parallels things (in the Network Preferances) are green and supposedly connected - despite trying to turn off networking in it, and it having been quit.

I have no clue where to look to "fix" this problem - but i have to be able to get online on the Mac Side.

Any help... direction and such would be mucho appreciated it - and i hope it was some basic I overlooked.

    Thanks -
    tracey
