We have a server2008 that a single user needs to access. We currently use RDP applicaton. The problem is he has 4 screens and we want to be able to use the applications in seemless windows and currently it is limited to only the primary window. Can you verify that the licensing would be free in this setup?
While I can't speak on behalf of 2x, according to their licensing a 1 server 3 connection license is free. Under download you must enter your information to receive the license key. However currently there is an issue with seamless applications if the combined resolution is higher than 4096x2048 . I have worked with support and they are aware of the issue. 2008 r2 uses an option called multimon which they should be using instead of span because 4096x2048 is a limitation of windows server.
