I'm looking at buying Parallels Desktop 3.0 for Mac, and I have a question. I have both a Mac Pro, and a MacBook. Both are my home computers, I just have the laptop for ease of moving around the house when I need to. And I was wondering if its legal to install the same license of parallels on two computers, when they are both personal use, and in the same household. Or if I would have to purchase two licenses of Parallels desktop. I couldn't find anything on the site easily about the licenses. And I know some software licenses are lenient when it comes to situations like this. Thanks in advance.
Situation is as following: You can use Parallels Desktop only on one computer at the same time, so if you don't use 2 at the same time it is legal, But current registration procedure will not allow you to regidter Parallels key from 2 Macs. So, currently no way to use 1 key on 2 Macs
So if the same registration could be on multiple computers, as long as it was only being used on one at a time it would be ok. But since you can't put the same version on multiple computers, it doesn't matter. Either way, thanks for clarifying. I'd need two copies for what I want then.
