I installed beta 2 with a fixed 8GB disk on a Mac Mini with 2GB of RAM (using the agp=off boot option), installed Fedora Core 6, kept up-to-date, installed beta 3, and realized my disk was full, No sweat, I created another disk for that VM under Parallels, rebooted and brought up the LVM applet. I see the new disk as "Uninitialed Entries" so I use the applet to set up a partition (hdc1) and select Initialize Entries ... get the progress bar, but when it's done I never see "Unallocated Entries" and hdc1 stays in the "Unititialized" state. Does LVM work under Parallels?
