Hi, I am running PD8 (latest version) on a MBP w/8g RAM, 2 SSD's with all the Parallel VMs placed on the 2nd SSD. Since switching to SSD I have been getting a very large parallel.log file, currently 32mb with a number of entries that appear like the following: 06-17 14:42:29.827 F /gui:6712:1203/ localhost: received event PET_DSP_EVT_VM_CONFIG_CHANGED, code = [100002] 06-17 14:42:29.828 F /gui:6712:1203/ localhost: sending [DspCmdVmGetConfig] request for VM {4d643765-b797-4da3-9d2e-9b0c23d0303b} [Red Hat Enterprise Linux] ... 06-17 14:42:29.828 F /gui:6712:1203/ localhost: received event PET_DSP_EVT_VM_CONFIG_CHANGED, code = [100002] 06-17 14:42:29.829 F /gui:6712:1203/ localhost: sending [DspCmdVmGetConfig] request for VM {2c9d983b-393b-4747-9e3d-df01d85682ee} [Ext Bizness Software XP] ... 06-17 14:42:29.833 F /disp:6792:3203/ Processing command 'DspCmdVmGetConfig' 1004 (PJOC_VM_REFRESH_CONFIG) 06-17 14:42:29.908 F /gui:6712:1203/ localhost: received result for [DspCmdVmGetConfig]. These above log entries I have for each VM that I have created. 06-17 14:42:33.755 F /disp:6792:3203/ Processing command 'DspCmdVmGetConfig' 1004 (PJOC_VM_REFRESH_CONFIG) 06-17 14:42:33.797 F /IOCommunication:6792:2d03/ IO server ctx [write thr] (sender 2): Error: write thread is not started! 06-17 14:42:33.822 F /IOCommunication:6792:2d03/ IO server ctx [write thr] (sender 2): Error: write thread is not started! 06-17 14:42:33.843 F /IOCommunication:6792:2d03/ IO server ctx [write thr] (sender 2): Error: write thread is not started! 06-17 14:42:33.848 F /IOCommunication:6792:3203/ IO server ctx [write thr] (sender 2): Error: write thread is not started! Any Ideas? I have tried using PD8 under Mountain Loin 10.8.4 but I could not get Parallels to run for more then 5 minutes before locking up and I had tried for 2 days and a number of install/uninstall attempts. I downgraded to Lion 10.7.5 as that was the last release that worked without issue and now I have found this issue. I do not want to remove the SSD's. Frank
