    Hi There,

I heared of huge performance increases in the new PD 4. so i thought this might be a good time to check out if I will be able to run Richard Burns Rallye on Parallels, since RBR really has been the only reason for me to boot windows in the past few months, and it drives me crazy (as you sure can imagine).

So, it seems like the Game itself should run smoothly, but I fail to install my Logitech G25 Racing Wheel. I install the drivers (tried 5.00 and 5.02) and connect the Wheel using Parallels. Until there everything seems normal, there comes this annoying "I got found new hardware" beep from windows, the message pops up: new hardware found, a second later, new hardware: G25 Racing Wheel. And then it fails.

Suddenly it thinks my precious G25 is a Driving Force Wheel, it beeps a couple of times and then says installation of new hardware failed, the driving force shows up in the gamecontrollers panel but isn't reacting to any input.

I would really appreciate any help in getting it up and running.

    thnx!

Please, generate problem report in your PD4.0.
Do it right after you connect your device to virtual machine and discover some problem in device work.
Then, send this problem report to our server (just press send button in problem report generation window)
And post the problem report number here.

Was there a solution to this problem?
I'm using the trial version after being tempted by the 256mb video card virtulisation.. but can't get my Logitech Driving Force Pro to initialise.

When I plug in the USB, it asks whether I want to connect it to the Mac or Virtual Machine, I click Virtual Machine and it appears briefly before disappearing.

I get two new hardware connection beeps from windows if that helps debug.

    Cheers, Simon.

    Anyone? Help!

    Hi,

Has Parallels had a chance to address this at all? I'm about to go through this configuration to play a few games with my G25 wheel and am hopeful.

Sorry to bring up an old thread, but it looks unresolved.

    Thanks!

    Resolution to this one?

Sorry, I had posted this earlier but to not avail - has this been fixed? I'm about to start configuring and buying parts for my system, but being able to use my G25 wheel/pedals with Richard Burns Rally is really the biggest draw :)

    no joy yet..

I didn't ever hear back from them.
But I have been given a beta version of parallels 5, so I'll test with that and let you know.

    Cheers, si.

    Parallels 5

Still no joy with Parallels 5. If you connect the wheel to the 'host system', then your VM doesn't recognise it. If you connect it to the 'virtual machine', then it recognises it and forgets it.. in an endless loop.

    Cheers, Simon.
