Looking for instructions on how to activate my internal mic in windows

Hello,

I can't get my internal microphone to work in windows. I have a core 2 duo MBpro.

I really want to change my volume recording to "stereo mix" but that doesn't work because the recordings always come from my macbook pro internal mic.

however, when I test to see if I can use the mic in windows, I cannot. So I would like to figure out how to get my internal microphone to work in windows using parallels. I think this si the first step in solving my problem.
