I don't know why but around 50-75% of the time, once I've launched Parallels, once it's running my Mac can't connect to shared folders on PC's on the network via smb: - when Parallels is running or closed down. A reboot is normally required and then it's fine.

I think it maybe as I have the Mac set to auto connect to these shared folders (on a PC server) when booting up. If I eject them before using Parallels I think it works fine. They are set up like smb://PEAKSERVER/shardfoldername

So, when I launch Parallels Desktop I think it's doing something to the folders/set up already loaded

    Any ideas????

Are these folders accessible in your virtual machine? Parallels Desktop mounts host shared folders in Windows automatically
