    Hi,
I have tried a lot of different Linux distributions on my mac in parallels 4.0.3180: Ubuntu 8.10, Kubuntu 8.04, Kubuntu 8.10, OpenSuse 10.3. In every case I (at least in my opinion) installed the Parallels Tools successfully. Automatic capture and release of the mouse and resizing of the desktop worked well after installing the Tools.
But as the title of this thread states, share clipboard doesn't work. In the configure menu for each virtual machine services->share clipboard is checked and greyed out.
So, how can I get share clipboard working?

Any hint appreciated, thanks in advance.

    System specs:
    Mac OS 10.5.6
    Parallels Desktop 4.0.3810

p.s.:Sorry for posting this on two forums. I posted this on the Linux specific forums first. But I do think now, that this is more an installation issue, although it's linux specific.
