hello, sorry for my bad english, i am from germany. i just created a new virtual machine with windows 7 professional. parallels tools are installed and already have been reinstalled trying to fix the problem. problem is that all the filetypes in windows are assigned to mac apps. e.g. pdf files are assigned to the mac adobe reader or preview app. i deactivated the setting "share mac applications" but that didnt do anything. how can i remove the mac apps from my windows?
You can try to go to Virtual Machine > Configure > Options > Security and check "Isolate Mac from Windows". It will automatically disable all the sharing features.
