Mac Dock & Menu bar is Annoying in Fullscreen Mode

    Is there any way to completely get rid of the dock when I'm in full screen mode? its really annoying when I'm trying to access Windows task bar and the dock keeps showing up. Same when the menu bar pops up when i'm trying to get to the Windows 8 charms.
