I am having a problem with a hang on my Mac, I believe I have narrowed it down to Parallels. This is a new machine, running latest Mac updates, Parallels Desktop build 5600, Windows XP. Using FileVault for my home directory and the Parallels drive is in my home directory.

I can start up Mac, log in, start a suspended Parallels session, make sure to make a network connection inside Parallels (eg follow a mapped drive to browse files on a file server), then quit Parallels to suspend session, then log out of Mac --> hang. Hangs for at least a minute, by that point I'm holding down the power key.

    Some additional info:

    - When comes back up, log back in, start Parallels to resume session, usually the XP session will give me a BSOD.

    - I found in at least on case if I didn't make a network connection in Parallels, I didn't get the hang.

    - I tried both shared and bridged networking, happened with both.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks,
    Alex
