Parallels 9.24251 with Mavericks (which I hate). Whereas I can open main programs on the Mac side, other apps open up on the vm. Same thing with the vm. When I checked on the vm side about the build #, the menu opened up on the Mac. I do NOT want this. For example, when I right click to empty trash, the menu pops up on my second monitor where the vm is displayed. This is really annoying. Nor do I want to suddenly see (as I am for the FIRST time) all the logical drives open up on the mac desktop. I liked showing the open apps in the Dock, but NOT elsewhere. How do I keep app icons showing in the Dock, but NOT on the desktop, keep menus from opening on the wrong monitor? Nobody has helped with my black screen flashes which is not happening as often as originally. In addition the blasted Dock keeps arbitrarily opening on the vm making it impossible to to work until I switch the Dock back to the Mac side. I've gone to display settings and set the bar on the right monitor. But, it will NOT stay there. It is not trivial to move it either: you're supposed to hover your cursor at the bottom of the screen to move it. This can take several seconds or almost a minute+ each time. When this happens over and over, one becomes highly annoyed. Please offer some suggestion, TobyT
