When I go into a folder on my Mac hard drive and double click on it (like a MS WORD file) Parallels Desktop is triggered to start up my Windows XP and the file doesn't open in my MAc version of MS WORD. To open the file in my Mac MS WORD I have to open WORD and then open the file through my Mac WORD. Why is the file "connected" to Parallels Desktop, causing Parallels Desktop to open? How do I disconnect them? I have also had this occur with icons on the internet where I click on an icon (usually an ASPX) to access another section of a website and they open Parallel Desktop and my Windows XP. How do I disconnect these so I can stay in Safari?
