When playing a fullscreen game on the Windows 11 ARM host on my Macbook Pro M1, I am experiencing a Mac WindowServer crash (the error report is on the mac side). It only seems to happen when playing a Windows game fill screen. Interestingly, it only seems to occur at random points when I click the mouse button on my Bluetooth Mac Magic Mouse. I am also using an Apple Bluetooth Keyboard.

When play the same game full screen without the mouse, but using the Mac's trackpad, I haven't noticed this issue. This makes me suspect it has there is something going on with the mouse settings or drivers.

    The symptoms are:
    1. Playing windows game full screen.
    2. System crashes (possibly triggered by a mouse click). Screen goes black.
    3. Mac lock / login screen appears.
    4. After logging back in, a WindowServer error message appears on the Mac OS. (

I've attached a screenshot of the error message I receive, as well as a full stack track.

    Has anyone else experienced this?

    Thanks!

Ok, I've been able to isolate the issue. This is due to a certain gesture on the Apple Magic Mouse (bluetooth). I can reproducibly crash the system by clicking and holding down the mouse while dragging my finger up the mouse (scrolling). This will cause a Mac WindowServer Seg Fault every time (see attached error trace), regardless of whether I'm playing a game or just using the windows OS.

    So the takeaways are:
    - Not related to Full Screen or external monitor or a certain game
    - Reproducible on the standard windows OS (just on the desktop, no other apps open)
    - Does not appear to be related to Memory or Process config in parallels.
    - Caused by a specific gesture on my Apple Magic Mouse (click and hold while swiping up). Apparently I do this gesture a lot while gaming.

    Thanks.
