Mac OS X Mavericks Running Win 7 Pro and Giftworks (CRM) in Parallels 9

Dear friends in the forum,
I am an IT volunteer at a non-profit and I need help configuring Parallels running Win 7 Pro with Giftwork from Mission Research as our CRM. All 10 of our Mac's clients are on OS X 10.9.5 Mavericks connecting to a Windows Server 2012 r2 file share. All of the Parallels configurations that I have tested continue to hang the database leaving files open and eventually leading to total corruption. I have used Parallels with Coherence, without Coherence, isolating Windows from Mac, etc., etc., etc. The end result is that our database goes down followed by rebuilding the database. No fun. If any forum members have been using a setup similar to ours (e.g. Mac clients running OS X with Parallels/Windows and an client applications that connects to a file share on a windows server), I would love to hear from you. Thanks to those of you who read this post and may have some idea about how to fix this problem.
