I originally posted in the Linux guest forum (http://forum.parallels.com/showthread.php?t=262260), but now I'm thinking it might be a general Mac question, so I'm not sure if it should be here or there.

I installed Lubuntu in Parallels for Mac, and whenever I click to start it, it asks for my mac password and won't launch if I cancel. My other VM's (including another linux VM) don't ask for my password, so why should this one?

I don't know if it's a Lubuntu issue (which I doubt) or perhaps the way I configured the VM. Are there any settings that would require the user's password to launch? Or could this be a virus or a bug?

    Thanks

Aaannndd it was because of the checkbox: require password to change VM state
