    Hi

A licensing question really. I'm about to move from a macbook pro to the new retina iMac, I've never done it but the migration assistant seems to make it easy to transfer my data across. once that is done I will be selling the macbook on so there is no question of leaving any old data on it but will I have licensing issues when parallels runs on a new computer, clearly theres no licence infringement. I imagine I should only have parallels installed on one computer?
    Thanks a lot

    Stephen

Sorry. I just want to make it clear I'm talking about the mac to mac migration assistant. nothing to do with creating a virtual machine.

    Thanks

Hi @StephenR4 you can just install the Parallels Desktop on your new Mac and move your VM to it.
If you need any help with the license transfer please let us know.
