Hi guys, new to Parallels and having bit of trouble transferring my .pvm file from an old iMac, wit Boot Camp partition running Windows 7, into a new Mac Book Air (early 2015 - apparently doesn't support Windows 7 any more) . Firstly, to transfer the .pvm file to the new MacBook, do I need to have a Boot Camp partition with Windows on the new MacBook? If so I can only install Windows 10, will I still be able run Windows 7. I still have some programmes that I use that need Windows 7, that is the problem!

Hi @PhillipM1, you can copy the imported Windows 7 Bootcamp based virtual machine from iMac into MacBookAir. You cannot configure Windows 7 in the native Bootcamp. Please check out this article to know how to import Bootcamp Windows.
