I'm running Windows 8.1 in Parallels Desktop 10 on a 13" Macbook Pro Retina. When the lid has been closed for some time with Windows running, the system freezes when I try to wake it from hibernation. I have all of the power saving settings in Windows disabled. I've had to begin suspending windows each time I'm through using it, which I would rather not have to do. I understand this is an issue that has been going on for some time, reportedly since Desktop 7, so I thought I would start a new thread about it. Has anyone, user or tech support person, discovered a fix for this? Are there display or power settings I can change on the Mac side that will resolve it?
