I installed samba server on my linux server that also serves as a wifi router and access point. It works OK from mac os, but then I tried to use it from Windows guest OS. I was able to read a large file from Windows, but when I started writing a file onto the server, macOS freaked out. It stopped connecting to the internet, was not able to obtain IP address from dhcp server, etc. At first I thought it was my server, but then I realized something was wrong with the mac OS. After restarting, mac started working normally, but when I decided to launch Windows, Parallels said mac OS settings changed and I need to reset the virtual machine. Not a big deal, but do you have any idea what went wrong?
