Using the new beta (3036), I get the following: 1) boots fine in windowed mode, and as long as the pointer is captured in the parallels window all is fine, once I move outside the parallels environment and back into os x. I get a lockup followed by a Kernel Panic. Panic info is: panic(cpu 1 caller 0x001A3135): Unresolved kernel trap (CPU 1, Type 14=page fault), registers: CR0: 0x8001003b, CR2: 0x603dd38e, CR3: 0x00b76000, CR4: 0x000006e0 EAX: 0x00000000, EBX: 0x00000001, ECX: 0x47e33b30, EDX: 0x603dd000 CR2: 0x603dd38e, EBP: 0x47e33b58, ESI: 0x064ea000, EDI: 0x0018e184 EFL: 0x00010206, EIP: 0x5f741a33, CS: 0x00000008, DS: 0x00020010 Backtrace, Format - Frame : Return Address (4 potential args on stack) 0x47e33908 : 0x128d1f (0x3c9540 0x47e3392c 0x131df4 0x0) 0x47e33948 : 0x1a3135 (0x3cf1f4 0x1 0xe 0x3cea24) 0x47e33a58 : 0x19a8d4 (0x47e33a70 0x0 0x3 0x7029) 0x47e33b58 : 0x5f741be6 (0x64ea000 0x18e184 0x0 0x0) 0x47e33b78 : 0x5f741c44 (0x64ea000 0x18e184 0x47e33bb8 0x5f74c33c) 0x47e33bb8 : 0x5f73c1aa (0x64ea000 0x69a9000 0x51fec080 0x35080) 0x47e33c48 : 0x5f72b57c (0x69a9000 0x7468200 0x10 0x6) 0x47e33cf8 : 0x3ae95b (0x69a9000 0x1 0x47e33d2c 0x47e33d28) 0x47e33d38 : 0x3b1e17 (0x69a9000 0x1 0x64316c0 0x1) 0x47e33d68 : 0x189939 (0x69a9000 0x1 0x64316c0 0x65e4cc0) 0x47e33db8 : 0x12b4da (0x65e4c8c 0x71bbba0 0x47e33df8 0x11e057) 0x47e33df8 : 0x124b2b (0x65e4c00 0x63fedc0 0x6e6a12c 0x0) 0x47e33f08 : 0x1955a1 (0x47e33f44 0x0 0x0 0x0) 0x47e33fc8 : 0x19ad4e (0x70ab340 0x0 0x19d0b5 0x7280a2c) No mapping exists for frame pointer Backtrace terminated-invalid frame pointer 0xbfff78b8 Kernel loadable modules in backtrace (with dependencies): com.apple.GeForce(4.4.0)@0x5f71a000 dependency: com.apple.iokit.IOPCIFamily(2.1)@0x57ec8000 dependency: com.apple.iokit.IOGraphicsFamily(1.4.4)@0x57dc6000 dependency: com.apple.iokit.IONDRVSupport(1.4.4)@0x57de1000 dependency: com.apple.NVDAResman(4.4.0)@0x6aef0000 Kernel version: Darwin Kernel Version 8.8.1: Mon Sep 25 19:42:00 PDT 2006; root:xnu-792.13.8.obj~1/RELEASE_I386 Model: MacPro1,1, BootROM MP11.005C.B04, 4 processors, Dual-Core Intel Xeon, 3 GHz, 4 GB Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GT, NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GT, PCIe, 256 MB Memory Module: DIMM Riser A/DIMM 1, 1 GB, DDR2 FB-DIMM, 667 MHz Memory Module: DIMM Riser A/DIMM 2, 1 GB, DDR2 FB-DIMM, 667 MHz Memory Module: DIMM Riser B/DIMM 1, 1 GB, DDR2 FB-DIMM, 667 MHz Memory Module: DIMM Riser B/DIMM 2, 1 GB, DDR2 FB-DIMM, 667 MHz AirPort: spairport_wireless_card_type_airport_extreme (0x14E4, 0x87), 4.80.46.0 Bluetooth: Version 1.7.9f12, 2 service, 1 devices, 1 incoming serial ports Network Service: WorkNet, Ethernet, en1 Network Service: HomeNet, Ethernet, en0 Network Service: Parallels Host-Guest Adapter, Ethernet, en3 Network Service: Ethernet Adaptor (en4), Ethernet, en4 PCI Card: NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GT, Display, Slot-1 Serial ATA Device: ST3750640AS, 698.64 GB Serial ATA Device: ST3750640AS, 698.64 GB Serial ATA Device: ST3500641AS P, 465.76 GB Parallel ATA Device: SONY DVD RW DW-D150A USB Device: Hub, Up to 480 Mb/sec, 500 mA USB Device: USB Receiver, Logitech, Up to 12 Mb/sec, 500 mA USB Device: Apple Cinema HD Display, Up to 1.5 Mb/sec, 500 mA USB Device: Hub, Up to 480 Mb/sec, 500 mA USB Device: IBCR II, I.R.I.S., Up to 12 Mb/sec, 500 mA USB Device: USB Storage, Up to 480 Mb/sec, 500 mA USB Device: Hub, Up to 480 Mb/sec, 500 mA USB Device: Hub, Up to 480 Mb/sec, 500 mA USB Device: Griffin PowerMate, Griffin Technology, Inc., Up to 1.5 Mb/sec, 500 mA USB Device: Up to 12 Mb/sec, 500 mA USB Device: Apple Cinema HD Display, Up to 1.5 Mb/sec, 500 mA USB Device: Bluetooth HCI, Up to 12 Mb/sec, 500 mA FireWire Device: built-in_hub, unknown_value, Unknown FireWire Device: 1394B/USB2.0 Combo Drive, PI-011, Up to 800 Mb/sec FireWire Device: iSight, Apple Computer, Inc., Up to 400 Mb/sec FireWire Device: unknown_device, unknown_value, Unknown 4GB totoal memory, 2GB set aside for parallels, 1gb dedicated to XP. 3036 tools installed.
