I was running out of space in Parallels so when I stopped my virtual machine, I attempted to resize the HD.

When I did so, it said that I could not do this unless I deleted all my snapshots.

So, that's what I did. Upon returning, to the config screen I tried to resize the VM again but this time it said there was an error.

I then tried to the start the machine and I get blue screen saying there is an unbootable_volume. I tried digging around in the pvm file, located an hds file and attempted to set that as a hd for the vm, but during the upgrade process it never gets past the word "virtual" in the UI.

I'm in a major panic right now and quite frankly very frustrated and disappointed by the software. I don't understand how operations I performed trying to extend the disk, delete snapshots could cause this!

Does anyone have any advice on how to proceed, did I just hose myself and lose all my data?
