I just upgraded to Parallels v7 (from v6). When I would start the guest OS in v6, it would be "quiet". That is, no intrusive windows or pop-ups or screen refreshes. In v7, I can see things starting in background and the foreground app I am using while it boots actually looses focus several times. There are also several screen refreshes. This is very annoying and intrusive. I don't know if this is v7 behavior or if I had flipped a switch in the v6 configuration to make that not happen. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I don't see anything obvious in Preferences... or Configure... FWIW, I presently start in coherence (not automatically). Windows Vista guest.
