manage parallels prefs and lock VM configs?

Am installing Parallels winxp on a laptop to serve as image. We are using OD for network users. Laptops are current macbooks w10.5.7. OD server is running 10.5.4--
Searching on manage preferences, lock config settings etc result in nada. Can someone point me to how to manage those settings in a 1-1 laptop environment. I need to set parallels prefs and the VM configs and have them stay that way while high school students are using the machines. Please advise TIA
