    Hi All,

I've just replaced the DVD drive in my MBP with another 500GB SSD. I've got is shared in the Windows 7 guest, which windows see as a network drive.
The issue is I need to install dropbox onto this drive and Dropbox refuses to move the files to a "network location". It's not actually a network location but windows thinks it is.

Is there anyway I get Parallels to share this drive as a local rather than network?

    Thanks,
    Finn.

  2. Hi FinnG. Mac's drive will be listed only as a network drive in the Windows virtual machine and the Windows drive will be listed under 'Shared Devices' on Mac side. It is not possible to configure Mac's drive as a local drive in the Windows virtual machine. Also, you can install the Windows programs only on the Windows drive.
