Hi guys. I bought Mass Effect, installs fine, get splash screen up but won't start actual game. So I've got a macbook pro, 15 inch, the latest model, i7 intel 2.0 Ghz, and 4gb RAM. I've got windows 7 installed as a guest OS, and I downloaded EA's Origin, and bought and installed Mass Effect. I've updated my graphics drivers, I've updated windows. I've updated my DirectX thingamajig. I've also uninstalled the game, and re downloaded and installed it twice. Made no difference. I've got my allocated RAM for the guest OS at 1.5, the game requires 1gb of RAM. My mac books got plenty of spec to handle the game. I do get a no memory for XDST warning when I boot up windows though, but apparently that's not a problem. Also my version of windows keeps saying it's not genuine copy (which it is), is that causing the problem? What else can I do? I've been working all night, and downloaded and installed it at work so I'd have a nice treat for myself to play over the weekend.
