Maximum number of published icons

Is there a limit to the amount of published icons i can have? I notice that as i add apps, it takes longer for the apps to come up in the 2x window.

there is no limit set but you must be realistic, adding 1000 application is not normal however it will work, obviously the more applications you put the more data is transferred so it gets slower
