Memshell crashes after closing App-V application

    Hello,

There seems to be a bug which causes memshell.exe to crash after exiting a published App-V application. The only way to end a session from that point, is to logoff or reset the session on the server, the user is no longer able to logon after the crash (and it won't logoff automatically from this point).

I've tested it with App-V version 4.5 and 4.6 on Windows Server 2003 R2 Standard 32-bit and 64-bit. Also tried the latest 2X AppServer 8.0 beta, no luck either. We really need to use App-V to isolate our applications, hopefully this can be fixed. I also attached a minidump from yesterday, that might be of any help to analyse the problem.

    Joost,

The problem is with 2x, i already made a support request to 2x. The problem is that 2x is (at this moment) not capable in reproducing the problem. At this moment they are internaly discussing when to make some time for this issue to be fixed.

    With Kind Regards Frank Roffel

There is no summurt. You need to install at least three server.
1 terminal server voor testing with the app-v client
1 server to make the app-v packages
1 server voor hosting the app-s software store.

Setting up with testing and making the apps wil cost you about 1 week or more.
